The Dadiani Palace complex in Samegrelo, in the city of Zugdidi, is one of Georgia’s most beautiful examples of 19th century architecture. This historic palace complex was belonging to Georgia’s famous noble Dadiani family. The Dadiani Palaces History and Architecture Museum houses some exhibits of natural cultural heritage of Georgia, along with Virgin Mary’s robe and Napoleon Bonaparte’s death mask, international military equipment, archaeological tools, ancient money and manuscripts.

The museum is surrounded by a beautiful botanical garden, built by Dadiani family. Garden consists the unique trees, which were brought from different parts of the world. The garden was managed by Queen Ekaterine in 19th century, who created one of the best botanical gardens in the whole Caucasus region.
