10:00 start of the tour;

On this day we will have Tbilisi city tour. Capital city of Georgia was founded in 5th century. During our city tour we will visit old city, Metekhi church, Rike Park and then we will climb up by the cableway on the Narikala fortress, from there opens the most extraordinary view of the city. After you will visit the famous Tbilisi sulfur bathes and Legvtakhevi;

Day 3: Tbilisi- Sighnghi- Bodbe– Tsinandali- Tbilisi

On this day we will visit Kakheti region, or first stop will be Sighnaghi. Town is located in the eastern part of region, which sits atop a bluff overlooking the Alazani Valley. Its charming cobblestone streets and alleys, restored original nouveau woodwork, and detailed facades give the town a romantic mystique. With the surreal views of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, Sighnaghi is one of the most beautiful towns in Georgia;
Next stop is Bodbe monastery, which is a Georgian Orthodox monastic complex Originally built in the 9th century, it has been significantly remodeled, especially in the 17th century. The monastery now functions as a nunnery and is one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist of Georgians, whose relics are shrined there.

Next drive to Tsinandali Estate, which is the cradle of classical winemaking of Georgia, the place where Georgian wine was first bottled. The complex in tsinandali embraces the memorial house, a landscape garden, a historical winery, wine cellar, hotel and a café. The vineyards have been restored and wine production has resumed. During the tour you will look into the background of the noble Chavchavadze family, who played a significant part in the national history; enjoy the views of the garden, have a look at the winery and sample the Georgian wines;

Day 4: Tbilisi- Mtskheta -Ananuri – Kazbegi

On this day we will drive to the mountain region of Georgia Kazbegi. Our first stop will be Mtskheta, former capital and one of oldest cities of Georgia. First, experience Jvari Monastery, a Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century. Next, you will drive to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral built in the 11th century, which was the main pilgrimage place on the Silk Road, the burial place of Christ's robe and the tomb place of Georgian Kings. The cathedral is listed in UNSECO World Heritage Site along with other historical monuments of Mtskheta;

Next we will drive to Ananuri is one of the hundreds of Georgian medieval castles. Architectural complex is a former residence of Argveti Dukes, which features churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries, beautifully overlooking the Jinvali reservoir;

Last stop for the day is Stepantsminda, also referred to as Kazbegi. It's a little town surrounded by huge mountains. The main attraction in Stepantsminda is Gergeti Trinity church, dating from the 14th century, standing at an elevation of 2170 meters, overlooking the small town of Stephantsminda. Apart from its religious purpose, the medieval church used to serve as a hiding place. During invasions at different times in Georgia's history the national treasure was hidden there, since it was hardly reachable for enemies;

Day 5: Kazbegi – Uflistsikhe – Borjomi

On this day we will visit - Uplistsikhe, literally ‘Fortress of God’, is an ancient rock-hewn town which played a significant role in Georgian history over a period of approximately 3,000 years. Archaeological excavations have revealed extraordinary artifacts dating from the late Bronze Age all the way up to the late Middle Ages. Uplistsikhe was an important religious, political and cultural center in the Hellenistic and the late Antique periods.
Next stop is Borjomi, which is famous for its mineral waters. Archaeological excavations have revealed the existence of stone baths in the area, proving that these mineral waters have been utilized by people for thousands of years. Because of the healing powers of the area's mineral springs, it is a frequent destination for people with health problems. Borjomi is also home to the most extensive ecologically-themed amusement park in the Caucasus.

Day 6: Borjomi- Rabati Castle- Vardzia – Borjomi

On this day our first stop will be Vardzia Complex, Vardzia is a rock-carved fortress, the main period of construction is 12th Century. This underground fortress eventually had 13 levels constructed with natural caves and contained over 6000 rooms, including a throne room, a reception chamber, a meeting room, a bakery, a forge, chapels and a huge church. The only way to get to this underground city was through a secret tunnel which started at the nearby Mtkvari River.

Next Stop is Rabati Fortress, which was currently renovated, it consists several buildings dated back to different periods of middle age. The castle was the most important defensive object in the region, so its walls remember many hard battles. It also served as a residence for rulers of Akhaltsikhe. Fortress had three layers of walls and was connected to its surroundings by an underground tunnel.

On this day we will drive to Imereti region, western part of Georgia. Our first stop will be city named Kutaisi, which represents one of the oldest cities in Europe. Kutaisi and its surrounding areas are distinguished by the beautiful nature and abundance of cultural monuments. In Kutaisi we will visit Gelati monastery, the monastery was founded by the king of Georgia David IV the Builder in 12th century. The Ensemble includes a different period (mainly XII-XIII cc) Buildings. It is included in UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Next we will visit Bagrati Cathedral, which has special place with it’s architectural and artistic dignity in the history of Georgian architecture. Historically, it is a symbol of united Georgia.

Last attraction of the day is Sataplia Managed Reserve, located in Tskaltubo municipality, Imereti region, here are found the footprints of Herbivorous and Raptor dinosaurs of different epochs. Sataplia dinosaurs are called “Satapliazaurus” and are different from Europian dinosaurs.

On this day we will drive towards to Mestia, Svaneti region. The landscape of Svaneti is formed by small villages on the mountain slopes, where are scattered medieval watchtowers, they symbolize one of the most remarkable sights of this are. Most of these towers are 20-25 meters high. dating from 8th century. The tower is primarily a defensive structure building, the towers were built to such an extent that together with other complexes they formed the collective defense system of the village.
Mestia is the administrative centre of Svaneti, despite its small size, the town was an important center of Georgian culture for centuries and contains a number of mediaeval monuments.
One of the typical Svanetian watchtower houses is open to the public, while the Museum of History & Ethnography has an excellent exhibition on Svanetian life as well as a superb treasury of mediaeval icons and processional crosses.

On this day we will visit Ushguli, located in Svaneti region, built at an astonishing 2400m above sea-level, Ushguli is the highest permanent settlement in Europe and one of the most scenic spots in Georgia. The village’s many medieval watchtowers are set against a background of alpine meadows, above which the great peak of Mt. Shkhara towers at a height of 5068m – the highest in Georgia. The 12th century Lamaria church set against the backdrop of this snow-capped giant is a sight you will remember for the rest of your life.
Ushguli is the home of the most ancient fortresses of Svaneti with 37 towers dating back from 12th century. Marvelous nature, historical past, world heritage is gathered in the magnificent place named Ushguli.

Today we will visit Zugdidi city, located in Samegrelo region, we will visit the main attraction of city, which is Dadiani Palace - a historic palace complex belonging to Georgia’s famous noble Dadiani family. The Dadiani Palaces History and Architecture Museum houses some exhibits of natural cultural heritage of Georgia, along with Virgin Mary’s robe and Napoleon Bonaparte’s death mask, international military equipment, archaeological tools, ancient money and manuscripts.
Around the museum is a beautiful botanical garden, built by Dadiani family. Here you can see the unique trees that are brought from different parts of the world. The garden was managed by Queen Ekaterine, she created one of the best botanical gardens in the whole Caucasus region.

On this day we will drive to Batumi Botanical Garden, boasting one of the widest varieties of flora in the world, Batumi Botanical Garden was established in 1912 by Andrey Krasnov. The garden is 111 hectares and contains flora from nine phyto-geographic areas. Area is distinguished by century-long parks, unique collections of subtropical flora, as well as succulents, palms, roses, camellias, citrus, bamboos, magnolia, Cyprus, pine-trees, nut, persimmon and maple tree collections. While walking in the garden you will meet a variety of trees and plans. In some places there are magnificent views on Batumi and on the sea.

After we will drive back to Batumi for city tour, during city tour we will visit: Statue Ali and Nino, Statue of Medea, long boulevard, new glass and fashionable and old 19th century buildings and elegant squares which will make you feel in Europe, green parks – nice relaxation areas with lakes, fountains.
