Meeting at Tbilisi International Airport.
Transfer to the hotel;

10:00 start of the tour;

On this day we will drive to Mtskheta, former capital and one of oldest cities of Georgia.
First, experience Jvari Monastery, a Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century. Next, you will drive to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, built in the 11th century, which was the main pilgrimage place on the Silk Road, the burial place of Christ's robe and the tomb place of Georgian Kings. The cathedral is listed in UNSECO World Heritage Site along with other historical monuments of Mtskheta;

Next will drive to Tbilisi, capital city of Georgia, founded in 5th century. During our city tour we will visit old city, Metekhi church, Rike Park and then we will climb up by the cableway on the Narikala fortress, from there opens the most extraordinary view of the city. After you will visit the famous Tbilisi sulfur bathes and Legvtakhevi;

Day 3: Tbilisi – Alaverdi – Schuchmann Wines – Tsinandali – Tbilisi

10:00 start of the tour;

On this day we will visit Kakheti region, First stop is Alaverdi monastery, one of the most outstanding chapels of medieval Georgia. The temple represents one of the largest church buildings in Georgia. Its height including dome is above 50 meters. Monastery was founded by Joseph Alaverdeli, one of the Assyrian fathers in the middle of the VI century.
Our next stop will be – ,, Schuchmann Wines ‘’ where we will taste different kind of Georgian wines.
Next drive to Tsinandali Estate, which is the cradle of classical winemaking of Georgia, the place where Georgian wine was first bottled. The complex in Tsinandali embraces the memorial house, a landscape garden, a historical winery, wine cellar, hotel and a café. Nowadays vineyards have been restored and wine production has resumed. During the tour you will look into the background of the noble Chavchavadze family, who played a significant part in the national history; enjoy the views of the garden, have a look at the winery and sample the Georgian wines;

Day 4: Tbilisi – Ananuri – Kazbegi – Tbilisi

09:00 start of the tour;

On this day we will drive to the mountain region of Georgia Kazbegi. Our first stop on military road is Ananuri - one of the hundreds of Georgian medieval castles. Architectural complex is a former residence of Argveti Dukes, which features churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries, beautifully overlooking the Jinvali reservoir;
Next we will drive toward to Stepantsminda, also referred to as Kazbegi. It's a little town surrounded by huge mountains. The main attraction in Stepantsminda is Gergeti Trinity church, (14th century), stands at an elevation of 2170 meters, overlooking the small town of Stephantsminda. Apart from its religious purpose, the medieval church used to serve as a hiding place. During invasions at different times in Georgia's history the national treasure was hidden there, since it was hardly reachable for enemies;

Day 5: Kutaisi – Gelati Monastery – Prometheus Cave

09:00 start of the tour;

On this day we will drive to Imereti region, western part of Georgia. Our first stop will be city named Kutaisi, which represents one of the oldest cities in Europe. Kutaisi and its surrounding areas are distinguished by the beautiful nature and abundance of cultural monuments.

In Kutaisi we will visit Gelati monastery, the monastery was founded by the king of Georgia David IV the Builder in 12th century. The Ensemble includes a different period (mainly XII-XIII cc) Buildings. It is included in UNESCO World Heritage Site list.

After we drive to the Prometheus Caves, which is a notable beautiful natural monument. This beautifully shaped karst Cave with stunning strips of stalactites and stalagmites once again will convince you of the enormous power of nature and will travel you in the fairy world.

Overnight in Tbilisi.
